For years, the direction was clear: administration needs big, central platforms. One access point for everything. One solution for all services. An architecture that bundles complexity.

The idea behind it makes sense. But developments have overtaken the predictions: thanks to register modernisation, individual apps will soon be able to exchange data with each other. That removes one of the advantages of the “big platform”.

But much more importantly: big platforms swallow huge amounts of time and money — and then, after years, still keep failing, or no longer fit the new reality.

That’s why we bet on individual solutions that solve concrete problems quickly and cost-effectively, and offer real added value for citizens — starting tomorrow, not at some point in the future.
