The app isn’t standing still, though — it keeps being maintained continuously: filters get adjusted, removed and added, and above all, more locations keep being added. It’s especially pleasing that we developed the app as a team of freelancers from our #ExpertenDigital network, so that the budget provided could be used very effectively and efficiently. Many thanks here to Pia Arndt, Konrad Alter and everyone else involved for the great collaboration. Anyone who wants to learn more about the app can of course simply download it, or find out more here: www.bergedorf.app.
The app isn’t just usable for other cities, districts and municipalities, though — it can also be adapted for comparable scenarios where the goal is to guide #people towards something, from their own perspective, through various search options and in their own language(!). Because a lot of #DigitisingGovernment projects in particular are not designed and developed from a #UserPerspective — or far too little so — a problem that unfortunately exists in many areas. That means the app can equally be used to provide a cost-effective #ServicePortal for a city or municipality, one that gives intuitive guidance on the question “Which application do I need to submit to which authority, and who’s responsible for me?” — for example, for new parents, expats, or people starting a business. The approach can just as well serve as a #digital #guide through a city’s cultural scene, or through the range of brands on a shopping street.
First conversations are already happening, and we’re already looking forward to the next project where we get to build bridges.
