There are couples where everyone always knew they belonged together.
And then there are couples like this one…

In an unusual pilot project, the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and State Modernisation brought municipalities and start-ups together, to rethink processes in administration from scratch using the founders’ digital expertise. The first results are now in, and they’re overwhelming. Start-ups managed to cut application processing times by up to more than 90% (!!!) using agentic AI. And it won’t stop at testing. Because the best solutions are now being scaled up more broadly. And in a second pilot phase, start-ups and municipalities will be brought together again. A genuine win-win relationship for Germany’s digitisation. Keep it up!
