Dear network,
Unfortunately, digitising government isn’t moving forward as quickly as we’d like. Reason enough to keep actively getting involved in this process, with the goal of speeding things up. That’s our motivation. Since the topics, conversations and enquiries keep growing, we need hands-on support to keep working towards our goals, drive topics forward, and actually have the conversations that need having.
That’s why we’re looking — ideally from within your network — for a student assistant:
Subject areas:
- Digitisation
- Public administration
- User-centred design
- Data analysis
- Communication
Tasks:
- Researching and preparing topics
- Reviewing and summarising documents
- Creating concepts
- Creating presentations
- Contributing to a book project
- Creating, accompanying and following up on communication measures
- Project support
- Appointment management, communication, day-to-day admin
Requirements:
- Interest in getting up to speed independently on new topics
- Proactive and able to think along, but willing to simply ask when something’s unclear
- Professional enough to bring even tedious work to a proper result
- Able to work in a team and take feedback, comfortable dealing with mistakes openly
- Hands-on mentality
And all of this either as a mini-job or on an hourly basis.
We’re of course aware that this is a broad range of tasks. So don’t worry: it’s enough if you, or the person you recommend, can help us with parts of it.
And we’re confident: these tasks offer a good way to get a head start on your future career.
